Carolyn Patton Nuckolls donates items to the Park District!
The art pictures, WWI helmet and hall tree shown below were recently donated to the Park District by Carolyn Patton Nuckolls. She is the daughter of Dick Patton and their family lived in (what it now) the Memorial Home in the 1930s. The hall tree, WWI helmet and pictures now sit in much the same locations as they did when the Patton family lived here. Many thanks to Mrs. Nuckolls for these wonderful gifts! Please take note of these beautiful items next time you are in the Memorial Home. Click on the pictures below for a larger view. More historical information about these gifts will be added here later.
