General guidelines for use of of Park District Facilities:

The Parks, Buildings and Equipment of the Park District are available for use by the general public. However, reservations are sometimes required and rental charges may apply. See the items below for more information. Charges are generally waived for use by not-for-profit organizations (eg. for a business meeting), however regular rental fees are charged if the purpose of their activity or event is to raise funds. Fees shall also apply to multi-session activities sponsored by not-for-profit and other entities, depending upon facility use. There are also different charges for individuals or groups that do not reside within the Park District. The Tennis Courts, Bandstand in the Park
and Xenia Park have no rental charges
associated with them. However, if you wish
to schedule a particular event using those
facilities, you should contact the Park
District to make a reservation.

  Sunday                 10:00 am -   6:00 pm
Main Park, Tennis Courts & Xenia Park:
  Daily, from dawn until dusk

Did you know . . .

Did you know that the Park District has some equipment for use by the disabled that we are able to loan out? Yes, we have wheelchairs and walkers  for those temporary needs. Call the Park District phone number (217) 648-2611 to  find what is available at this time and how you can obtain help. There is  generally
no charge for this equipment.

Also, if you happen to have a wheelchair, walker, crutches, or  hospital-type bed that you no longer need, consider donating it to the Park  District so that someone in need can make use of it.  Thanks!
